Last night I organized a formal night mainly to get a chance to wear my new suit. Out of about 100 invited 15 showed up so we had a good balance between party and manageable. Everyone looked stunning and all had a great time. We started the night in a nice restaurant in WanChai before moving to Felix at the Peninsula. The Peninsula is a five start hotel on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong and the Felix, the bar on the top floor, offers breath-taking views over Hong Kong island. Felix has been near the top of my to do list for Hong Kong for a while, mainly because of the view from the bathroom. Even though the drinks are some of the most expensive I have seen, one drink up there is well worth the price. I would have gone there earlier, but anyone not wearing a suit would be extremely out of place there.
After relaxing in Felix we caught the last train back to the island to Lan Kwai Fong, the club district. Here we spend a few hours hopping around bars, clubs, and 7-11’s. That night I ended up going home early, I got to bed around 4am. It was definatly a night to remember and a few pictures are below.
