Happy holidays! We’ve finally made it to December and 2007 is coming to an end. This year has seen some big highlights. The most obvious being Halo 3! Halo Nation will be three months old in another ten days. The progress we’ve made since has been astonishing. To all our forum members, thanks for being apart of our community! Here’s some December news:

Newsletter.
Rest assured that despite all the turkey consumed, I have not forgotten about the newsletter. I was actually investigating the HTML issue & hassle involved with it. I suspect that a posting & subsequent forum-wide email of the link may be more useful. I will be needing an editor along with postings from the members. Join in the newsletter discussion to give your opinions.

The Viz Report.
The first Viz Report has finally been posted. You can check it out in the Chat forum or click here. Love it or hate it, you’ll soon decide. We look forward to another Report for the holiday season.

Visual Forum Changes.
Over the next few days, you may notice changes to the forum’s style. This is in an effort to maximize our content, effect SEO improvements, and make it easier to access content with less header. The most notable change will be the removal of the "3" in the upper right and replacement with a login box. This will free space below, reducing total header height. Hopefully any downtime or missing items will be at a minimum. Please excuse the mess.

Registration, Incentives & Advertising.
There is a de facto registration campaign currently underway. I fully support it, so let’s keep it up. Official HN banners & buttons can be found here for your websites or forum signatures. The HN Portal has also been updated. It also has a more appealing registration image. As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to post them. Your feedback is welcomed & appreciated.

From the entire Halo Nation staff, have a safe & happy holiday season.

[henry] so i found her facebook profile
[laura] who?
[henry] jenny, the girl i was talking to at hannah’s hallowe’en party
[laura] so now you’re facebook stalking her?
[henry] no, i just stumbled across her page
[laura] how did you do that?
[henrry] she commented on hannah’s page the next day after the party and i clicked on it. she’s having a birthday party at the fox by the university this weekend
[laura] this is getting creepy
[henry] so do you want to go?
[laura] why me?
[henry] going alone is just weird
[laura] stalking her is weirder
[henry] i already know what i want to say, first we’ll talk about music, i already know which bands to mention and not to mention
[laura] this is just sick now
[henry] then we’ll go on to movies, then books, and if there’s time favourite quotes
[laura] do you really think she’s stupid enough to fall for all this?
[henry] maybe i should exclude books, i don’t come off as an avid reader anyways
